A new telephone communication took place between Russian President Putin and American President Trump focusing on the situation in Eastern Ukraine where the front broke after the official fall of the fortress city of Kostyantynivka which forms part of the fortress cities of Kramatorsk and Slovyansk which notably have been surrounded.

The American leader reiterated his readiness to help "in the rapid cessation of hostilities and in the search for peaceful solutions to overcome the crisis".
Trump also believes that the rapid completion of the special operation will allow the realization of the potential of Russian-American economic cooperation.

Putin confirmed to Trump his readiness to facilitate the de-escalation around Iran and the "stabilization of the situation in the region".
Responding, Trump expressed gratitude to Russia "for its balanced position and its constructive proposals".
The Russian leader also expressed the hope that the United States and Iran will be able to "find mutually acceptable long-term solutions to key settlement issues".
